With the launch of the new food group pyramid, there are officially five food group pyramids. Oils and butters are now included in a food group pyramid; but for the purposes of this article, we will still consider ourselves have four. The four food group pyramids are grains, fruits, vegetables, meats and dairy products food pyramid. Let each food group pyramid and discuss some of the main points of each group. 

Grains cover a wide range of food group pyramid: bread, cereal, rice and pasta. It is a variety of foods. Breads come in many varieties; pita, rye, white and wheat are the most popular varieties. Grains are so numerous that there is not enough space to talk about fifty pages varieties offered. Rice and pasta are a bit limited in its offer more, but are still varied.
